About ICED
The International Consortium for Educational Development (ICED) established in 1993, is committed to promoting educational/academic/faculty development across its member networks and to supporting the establishment of new networks. ICED aims to improve the understanding and experience of teaching and learning in higher and tertiary education throughout the world.
The ICED 2008 Conference brings together educational/academic/faculty developers from over forty countries and provides them the opportunity to share research and to learn about the latest innovations supporting teaching and learning in higher education.
- Member Organizations
- The organizations that make up the membership of ICED are national and regional associations that support teaching and learning in higher education.
- ICED Council
- The ICED Council is formed by presidents, of countries’ (or regions’) networks for academic staff or faculty development. The Chair of the ICED Council is Carla Nelissen of CgHO (Belgium’s network).
- ICED Journal
- The International Journal of Academic Development (IJAD) is the semi-annual publication of ICED.
