MORE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE RESOURCE FAIR

If you request a Resource Fair display table, here are some suggestions:

  1. Prepare a variety of materials to display. You may include anything that will fit on a 6 foot x 2 foot table (approximately 1.8 meters x .6 meters). Materials you might include: handouts, pamphlets, flyers, brochures, newsletters, photos, audio/video recordings, books, etc.
  2. Provide a few handouts or brochures participants can take with them. (You may wish to mark other materials “Display Only.”)
  3. Bring a sign you can display on the table that clearly identifies your institution. Use a font size that is large enough to be seen several feet away.
  4. Be prepared to share your contact information (e.g., business cards).
  5. Remember: NO media is available. (You may supply your own–powered by batteries– because electrical outlets are not readily accessible in this hall.)
  6. Make sure that you, or someone from your institution, will be at the table during the entire Resource Fair time (Friday, June 13, 5:30-7:00 p.m.). (Set-up time is from 4:45-5:30 p.m.)
